Please read setup instructions before running RSTV software

Before running the RSTV software, you need to know certain settings for your computer.

(a) Make & Model of your modem (PSTN) or terminal adapter (ISDN)
(b) COM Port your modem/TA uses

This information can be found in the Control Panel.
(1) To open the Control Panel, click on the Start button, select Settings, then click on Control Panel.
From the Control Panel double-click on the Modems icon. A screen should appear that lists the modem(s) you have installed on your computer.

(2) Make a note of Make of modem & the Com port it uses (i.e COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4)
Important Note: 28.8 bps modems or above are recommended for optimum performance

Display Settings
RSTV requires your display resolution to be 800 x 600 and for best results 16bit or 24 bit colour. This can be adjusted from within the Control Panel - [Display Settings] [setup]

(3) Run the RSTV software
(4) User = "Di" Password = "Cam"
(5) Open the Port Settings window
To configure RSTV to work with your modem, click on [Installation] from the menu at the top of the screen.
(6) Click on Port A
(7) Make sure that the "Unit Connected" is ticked to ReCam

(8) Modem configuration.
Please select from the drop down list the relevant com port for your modem.
In the Modem Settings window, Tick the Modem Connected box. Change the modem type only if you have a 3Com/USRobotics Sportster or any other modem listed in the dropdown box, else use Hayes Compatible.
Set the speaker to ON.
Click OK to close the Modem Setup screen.

From the main screen pull your mouse all the way to the right, the dial dialog will appear. Click on the Active Telephone icon. A list will appear. Click on the [DIAL] tab.
